Pro Formula
Mazda#42
When the new Pro Formula Mazda chassis arrived in 2004, Mike Anderson stepped into a faster, more demanding national series—and competed through the 2006 season.
The next step
in open-wheel racing.
The launch of the new Pro Car chassis in 2004 marked a major evolution for Formula Mazda. Mike joined the series at its beginning and raced the unmistakable orange-and-yellow #42 over three seasons.
Highly
competitive.
The Pro Formula Mazda field demanded precision. With closely matched cars and packed grids, the smallest differences in setup, preparation, traffic management, and execution could decide an entire weekend.
Every detail mattered.
The new chassis raised the level of performance. Success required the driver and crew to keep improving the car session by session and fight for every fraction of a second.
Building speed
together.
The relationship between driver and engineer was central to extracting performance from the new chassis. Feedback from the cockpit had to become useful setup changes before the next session.
Remi Lanteigne worked with Mike to translate feel, data, and changing track conditions into a faster #42.
